Technical Project Manager, Data Products

What you will own

• The expansion roadmap: which auction houses we onboard next, in what order, and what “done and trustworthy” means for each one.
• Data quality as a tracked deliverable. Match rates, unresolved lots, premium and currency accuracy, and the review queue are numbers you watch and drive down.
• Release cadence for the public site and the weekly auction tape that drives our distribution. It goes out on time and correct, every week.
• The bridge between engineering and the editorial and product decisions. You translate “the Burgundy median moved” into a shipped, charted, credible story.
• Vendor, data source and tooling coordination, including the LWIN and reference data dependencies.

What you bring

• A track record shipping technical data products or pipelines, not just generic software sprints. You understand what makes a dataset trustworthy and what breaks it.
• Fluency talking to engineers about schemas, jobs, matching logic and edge cases without needing everything translated.
• Sharp prioritization. You protect focus and cut the work that does not move coverage, quality or distribution.
• Clear written communication. You run a lightweight process the team actually follows, not ceremony for its own sake.
• Comfort with metrics ownership. You define the few numbers that matter and report them honestly, including when they are bad.

Nice to have

• Background in market data, fintech, collectibles or auctions.
• Hands on enough to query the database or read a pipeline log yourself.
• A genuine pull toward wine and the collector world.
