CruRank

Every price is a real hammer.
Here is exactly how we count.

Where prices come from

Published results from the auction houses themselves, captured after each sale closes. Every price on this site names its house and links to the sale — the full list is on the houses page. We never record live bidding as a result.

Per 750ml, always

A case of twelve, a magnum, a jeroboam — every lot is converted to its per-750ml-equivalent price so a leaderboard rank means the same thing everywhere.

Premium included

Prices include the buyer's premium — what a buyer actually paid — and each is labeled. Where a house publishes hammer-only, we say so.

Sale-date exchange rates

A sale in London settles in pounds; we convert at the rate on the day of the sale, not today's.

Mixed lots sit out

A lot holding two different wines has no honest per-bottle price. We keep the record, but it never ranks.

Wines are matched to LWIN

Every wine is identified by its LWIN code — the trade's shared identifier, maintained by Liv-ex — so the same wine is the same wine across every house. Only confident matches rank; the rest wait for review.
