Barcelona Wine Bar
This is a Spain first list, 380 bottles built heavily on Rioja in both its traditional and modern styles, with strong showings from Rías Baixas, Ribera del Duero, Castilla y León, and Penedès sparkling. Red dominates at 217 wines, but there is real depth in cava and Galician whites, and a sizable 25 bottle dessert and fortified section. It rewards staff who can talk Spanish producers: look to Bernabeleva and Clos Mogador for serious reds, Gramona and Avinyó for traditional method sparkling. Pricing is friendly and accessible, with a median around $52 and plenty under that, though the top end runs deep into Vega Sicilia Único at $795 and Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill for anyone trading up. The 40 wine glass program is broad enough to pour by region and style across most of the floor's needs.
