Casa D'Angelo
This is an Italy first list of real scale, over 1,500 bottles built around Tuscany and Piedmont, with deep verticals of Brunello di Montalcino, Barolo, and Barbaresco and a serious Super Tuscan block. Gaja, Casanova di Neri, Tenuta dell'Ornellaia, La Spinetta, and Quintarelli anchor the Italian side, while American Cabernet is the main New World pillar and France shows at the top end through Domaine de la Romanee Conti and Chateau Petrus. Pricing runs the full spread, from a $16 entry up to a $24,450 Romanee Conti, with a median near $285, so there is plenty of room to sell well without forcing a customer into the trophy tier. The 62 wines by the glass give you flexibility, though note the list leans heavily red, with whites, rose, and sparkling thin by comparison. This rewards a guest who wants aged Italian reds and knows the names, and it gives you the bottles to trade up a Brunello or Barolo drinker with confidence.
