Berlin, Berlin, Germany · ★★ Michelin
CODA
This is a sparkling and German white list before anything else, built around Champagne (68 listings) and Mosel and Rheinhessen Riesling, with red almost an afterthought at 16 wines out of 340. The depth is in growers people get excited about: Maximin Grünhaus with 31 listings, Egon Müller at Scharzhof, Hofgut Falkenstein, Joh. Jos. Prüm, and on the Champagne side a real Ulysse Collin presence. Pricing skews serious, with bottles starting around 98 EUR and climbing well past 184 EUR, and there is no glass program at all, so everything is a bottle commitment. This rewards a guest who knows German Riesling and grower Champagne and wants to go deep on either. If someone wants red or wine by the glass, set that expectation early.
