FLG Terroir Wine Bar & Bistro
This is a deep, red leaning cellar of 543 bottles, with reds making up nearly three quarters of the book and whites, sparkling, dessert, and a small orange section filling out the rest. The list rewards Old World drinkers and rolls toward the geeky, with depth in Piedmont through G.D. Vajra and Cigliuti, the Douro and Portugal via Niepoort, plus Oregon Pinot anchored by The Eyrie Vineyards. Pricing is genuinely approachable, running from $12 to a median around $30, so most of the room drinks well under fifty, but the top end goes the distance with Chateau Mouton Rothschild Pauillac at $1,177 and Domaine Jean Louis Chave Hermitage. Note there is no wine by the glass, so everything moves by the bottle, and you will want to steer tables accordingly. Best served to a curious red drinker who wants range and value over big name labels.
