Il Piccolo Principe
This is a big, serious list, nearly 1300 bottles built around a red core, with reds outnumbering whites better than two to one and Italy front and center. The depth is in Piemonte, Tuscany, and Burgundy, so expect real verticals and backbone names: Giacomo Conterno and Gaja in the north, Castello di Ama and Tignanello through Chianti and the supertuscans, plus a deep Pinot Nero section out of Burgundy and strong Champagne grower coverage from Montagne de Reims, including Benoit Lahaye. Sparkling and dessert wines are present but secondary, and there is essentially no rosé to speak of. Be aware there is zero by the glass program, so every sale is a full bottle commitment, which means this list rewards a guest who wants to dig into Barolo, Barbaresco, or aged Montalcino rather than someone looking for a quick taste. Pricing was not captured, so confirm ranges on the floor before you steer a table.
