Jägerhof
This is a deep, red leaning bottle list, 437 wines with reds making up 290 of them, and it is built around a strong Swiss spine alongside serious Italy. Graubünden is a real strength on both colors, with Gantenbein and Donatsch among the local growers, and the Italian reds lean Tuscan and Piedmontese, with Le Macchiole carrying weight in Tuscany. There is real top end here, including Domaine de la Romanée Conti at eleven listings and good Champagne from Laurent Perrier, but the list also opens with honest bottles starting under 100 CHF. Note there is no wine by the glass at all, so every recommendation is a full bottle commitment, and the rosé and sparkling sections are thin. This list rewards a guest who wants Swiss reds or a classic Tuscan or Piedmont table wine and is ready to drink by the bottle.
