La Table d'Hôtes - La Rôtisserie du Chambertin
This is a deep Burgundy book first and foremost, built on its home turf in the Côte de Nuits with serious weight in Gevrey Chambertin, from village Bourgogne Rouge up through the Grands Crus, alongside strong showings in Meursault, Pommard and Volnay. The list runs nearly 1,900 wines with reds and whites carrying the load, and the producer depth is real, with Domaine Taupenot Merme, Claire Naudin and Domaine René Bouvier each holding twenty plus references. Champagne is a genuine secondary strength, led by the Vallée de la Marne. The glass program is enormous, over 800 wines by the glass, so you can pour broadly and let a guest taste across appellations without committing to a bottle. Prices in our examples sit around 50 to 110 euros, so there are accessible entry points, and this list rewards anyone who wants to drill down on Gevrey and the surrounding Côte d'Or terroirs.
