Tim Raue
This is a big, serious list, over 1,000 wines, built around Burgundy in both colors, with red Bourgogne the single deepest section and a real run of Domaine de la Romanee Conti. Germany is the home strength behind it, with Rheinhessen and the Pfalz well covered and producers like Jochen Dreissigacker and Eva Fricke showing up in volume. Champagne is led hard by Krug, and California leans on Sine Qua Non, so there is firepower at the top end. By the glass is modest for a list this size at 28 pours, and while the heart of the list sits in collector territory, native bottle prices reach down to the high teens in euros, so you can still steer a guest to something accessible. This rewards anyone who knows their Cote dOr and can talk German Riesling with confidence.
