Babbo Ristorante e Enoteca

This is a serious, all Italian list, nearly 1,200 bottles built around Tuscany and Piedmont in almost equal measure, with strong supporting depth in Sicily, Campania, and the Veneto. The strengths show in the producer roster: Sicilian Etna and Marsala specialists like Benanti, Girolamo Russo, and Marco de Bartoli, alongside Chianti houses such as Castell'in Villa, Bibbiano, and Monteraponi, plus the Bastianich wines from Friuli. It rewards both ends of the room. Bottles start at $17 and the median sits around $190, so you can drink well without spending much, but the ceiling runs to a $6,500 de Bartoli Marsala and Barolo from Cantina Mascarello and Cappellano for the trophy hunters. The glass program is modest at 31 pours, so steer guests toward the bottle list, which is where this place lives.
