Bordeaux fills the prestige tier, heavy in Margaux and Pauillac with Chateau Palmer and the First Growths Haut Brion and Margaux pushing past 2,000 dollars. Bottles run from 68 up to 2,700 with a median around 235, so there is real entry level access alongside the trophy bottles. It rewards a guest who wants Rhone Syrah or Napa Cabernet and is ready to commit to a bottle.
