Doris Metropolitan

This is a serious, deep list of 933 wines built on red Burgundy and Piedmont, with real heft in Bordeaux and Cabernet too. The Burgundy side runs hard, with Dujac showing 30 listings alongside Roulot, Roumier, Dugat Py, Fourrier and a handful of Romanee Conti, while Piedmont leans on Produttori del Barbaresco and Roagna. Bottles span $14 to $22,000 with a median near $350, so the floor stays approachable even as the cellar climbs to Petrus, Lafite and DRC Romanee Conti at the top. The by the glass program is small at 15 pours, so this is a bottle driven list. It rewards a guest who knows Burgundy and Barolo and wants depth, but you can still find honest value for a casual table.
