Eleven Madison Park
Eleven Madison Park's list is enormous, north of 3,300 bottles built on a deep French spine, with Burgundy and the Rhone, especially the Northern Rhone, doing the heavy lifting. Volnay Premier Cru alone runs nearly a hundred selections, so if a guest wants serious Pinot Noir we have real range there. The Champagne section is no afterthought, with a strong Blanc de Noirs presence, and Napa cabernet covers guests who want New World power. Pricing spans the entire spectrum, from a $12 bottle to a $28,000 trophy, with a median around $350, so it rewards both the splurge table and the guest who knows where to look. The 56 glass pours give you enough flexibility to actually build a pairing or steer a hesitant table without opening a bottle.
