Michael's St. Augustine

This is a big, red leaning collector's list of over 1,100 wines built around California Cabernet and Bordeaux, with serious Burgundy depth behind it. Reds dominate at 785 bottles, and the strength is in cult and benchmark producers: Peter Michael alone shows up 39 times, with Sine Qua Non, Saxum, Bryant Family, and Vérité all deep, plus a Burgundy top end that runs into Leroy and Domaine de la Romanée Conti at five figures. Prices stretch from $5 to over $9,500 with a median around $343, so there is real money here but also approachable bottles for guests who do not want to trade up. The glass program is modest at 28 pours, enough to cover a table but not the heart of the offering. This list rewards the table chasing a marquee California or Bordeaux red, and the somm comfortable steering big spenders into Burgundy.
