Saxon Hotel, Villas and Spa
A major 706 bottle list, red led with a strong white section and genuine Champagne and sparkling depth, plus a real other category rounding it out. Pricing is in South African rand, from R70 at the floor to R200,000 at the top, with a median of R3,250, so this is a serious spending list even though the floor stays accessible. Vintages run 1978 to 2025, giving real cellar age. South African depth is the clear strength: Vin de Constance in ten bottles, Le Riche's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon in seven, De Toren's Black Lion Shiraz in six, and Sadie Family Vineyards' Columella in five, alongside Chateau d'Yquem in five and Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue's Musigny Grand Cru in four for serious depth further afield. Forty four glass pours make this a strong by the glass room as well as a serious cellar.
