The Greenbriar Inn

This is a big, red driven cellar of 725 bottles built squarely on California Cabernet and Napa power, with Far Niente, Beaulieu Vineyards, Inglenook, and Quintessa anchoring the domestic reds, plus a serious Australian streak led by Penfolds and Tuscan reds from Antinori and Ruffino. The list runs deep at the top end, topping out around $1,260 on Quintessa and Opus One, but the real story is range, since the median sits near $111 and bottles start at $9, so you can pour honestly for any table. Whites are present but secondary at 177 listings against 440 reds, mostly Chardonnay, and rosé is an afterthought at seven. Note the standout fortified and dessert depth, with Ports from Dow's and W. J. Graham's and Far Niente Dolce, so steer dessert and cheese guests there. The 32 glass pours give you flexibility, but this list rewards the guest who wants a structured, age worthy Cabernet or Shiraz.
